A Few Things Worth Knowing
I specialize in faith-based coaching for Christians navigating pain, doubt, addiction, and major life transitions. My work sits at the intersection of doctoral-level psychology, 30 years of addiction specialty, and seminary training, which means clients never have to choose between real depth of insight and genuine theological grounding. I bring both.
About Christian Life Coaching with Dr. Erika
I can hold both your faith and your full story without flinching
What we do in sessions is not soft. We use Scripture, prayer, real coaching tools, and honest conversation to get to what is actually happening underneath the performance. I will tell you what I see. I will ask the question no one else has thought to ask. I will not let you leave a session with a comfortable lie still sitting there. My clients tell me that I see them when nobody else in their lives does. That is the work. And it is what I built my entire practice around.
To Help Believers Stop Performing and Start Living Their Faith
This practice is built for Christians who have tried all the right things and still feel hollow inside. People who pray, who study, who show up every Sunday, and who still lie awake wondering what is wrong with them. Nothing is wrong with them. They have just never had a space where their faith and their full humanity were welcome at the same time. That is what I created this for.
Real Conversation. Real Tools. Real Change
Sessions with me are led by what you bring into the room that day. I follow your goal, listen for what the Holy Spirit surfaces, and hold both the mirror and the compass. We use Scripture, prayer, journaling prompts, and proven coaching tools in whatever combination fits where you are. You will not leave sessions just feeling heard. You will leave with something to work with.

Mission and Purpose
Mission Statement
Coaching in Faith with Dr. Erika helps Christians who are wrestling with pain, doubt, or life transitions break free from the belief that struggle means they are falling God so they can experience their faith with authenticity, peace, and the full confidence of someone who knows they belong to Him.
Practice Purpose Statement
This practice exists to help believers release the lie that faith should protect them from suffering, and to live with the freedom, rootedness, and full humanity that God actually designed for them.
Problem the Practice Solves
Too many Christians are quietly drowning in pain they believe they are not allowed to name. They have been told, implicitly or explicitly, that depression, anxiety, grief, addiction, or doubt means God is angry or they are doing faith wrong. When their pastoral counseling, prayer, and Bible study do not make the pain stop, they leave more defeated than before, pulling further from their community, their church, and sometimes God altogether. This practice directly addresses the collision point between unprocessed pain and religious expectation.
